Default Shipping help

Recently purchased a 1990 zr1 from a member in Ortonville Mi. Due to his schedule I am unable to find a shipper that can work with him to get this car loaded and delivered to Heibecks shop prior to being shipped to Oregon. Are there any members able to assist with this shipment.like meeting the trucker and signing off on the inspection. The car is now sitting out in the weather. Sorry if this is incorrectly posted. I am running out of options and the seller is not willing to work with the carriers.

How about someone driving it to you vs a carrier?

It is not in shape to make the run. Has sat for a few years and needs injectors. Hence the stop at Heibecks shop. Was also going to have them drain and flush all fluids etc.

Ortonville is somewhat near Pontiac, MI and Interstate 75.
I once helped a buyer in Belgium ship a C3 from Florida to a European port. We sent a rollback truck to the seller's shop and they hauled it to a port.
Could you find a local tow truck to do the work for you? I know that sometimes the carrier will pick a vehicle up at an Interstate exit.
Good luck with the Z

We have local affiliates in most states - we'd love to help if we can! Give us a call at 847-557-0200 (M-Th 8am-8pm, F 8am-5pm, and Sa 9am-12pm; closed Thanksgiving and the 26th this week!) and we'll see what we can do!

Was finally able to get the car shipped on Friday. Should now be at Heibecks shop getting checked and some base line repairs and services done. I will probably use another shipper to bring the car to Oregon when finished. This thread can be defeated if that's how it works.
