Default Late post.

Hello,
The weather has been somewhat nice for late in the year in south Michigan, but the 92 vette is put away till spring. Got one car cruise in this year, a lot of drive time, and met a few nice car enthusiast. On the agenda for next spring is replace one head light motor or gear. Find out what's going on with a annoying oil drip from somewhere ? and perhaps change out fuel injectors to bosch 3's . Heard good things about them. That is all for now.

So sad to read about hibernating Corvettes.

I'll channel some good thoughts your way on my commute.

What is wrong with the headlights? Maybe the pellets and gear? I changed to Bronze with new pellets on both.

Wash it off carefully so we have a clean slate. DO NOT GET THE OPTI WET. Maybe a couple cans of brake cleaner? I don't have an opti and I do use a gentle spray and engine degreaser. I put 2 or 3 times the dye in the oil they recommend for easy checking. Run the engine and see with a blacklight.

Get a rebuilt set from FIC. Under $200, IIRC. If you are there, take off the TB and maybe do the coolant bypass? Also remove the top plate and the IAC and the IAC housing. Clean off all passages with brake cleaner. GENTLE spray on the IAC pintle and wipe it off. DO NOT PUSH OR PULL or you are buying a new solenoid. Reassemble with fresh gaskets.
