Default Lost electrical

I have an 86 C4 that I don't drive too much right now. It needs a new Electronic Spark Control module that I plan to replace soon. The issue I have now is I went to start the car tonight and it started right up, ran for a few seconds and stalled. I turned the key back and started again and it started right up. It ran longer and as I went to give it some gas it stalled again. Instead of turning the key back I just tried to start it again. When I did that I lost all electrical and it is dead. Car has a new battery that I put in a couple of weeks ago. I am at a loss at what made it lose all power. Can anyone help?

Clean and inspect the cable and clean behind the battery bolt. Try wiggling them first.

Check the fusable links below the battery with an ohm meter. Could have popped one or more. Sounds like it's time to start tracing wiring and check your fuses.

So turns out it was a loose positive battery cable. Thanks to all for the help.
