Default aftermarket gauges

Hi all,
Anyone that has installed extra gauges how did you mount them ? I'm thinking about getting a couple and looking for mounting ideas but I don't want to cut holes in the dash.

What year? Supposedly the Atari dash was done by others, The newer 90 and up, I haven't seen but would be interested if it isn't a huge PITA.

Is that mount pretty solid?
I autocross the car on a old concrete runway that is missing quite a few chunks!

I wouldn't say so since it's NOT glued and it's mounted with pins, that would be hard to vibrate out.

A 2&1/6" gauge will fit perfect in an air conditioner vent. I have a boost gauge mounted in the first center vent. You will need to remove the air deflector vanes.

If you're looking at you're gauges during an autocross you're not going fast enough.

I agree
It's an automatic so I've been wondering how hot the transmission is getting.

I am having the entire digital dash in my 89 removed and a custom panel fabricated in its place. I am going with all Speedhut and the speedometer will be GPS driven. I will have a tach., Speedo, oil pressure and temp., volts, fuel, and water temp. in my custom panel, along with new turn and high beam indicator with headlights and dimmer, and driving light switches.
