Head work cost/price
I am interested in a set of LT1 ported & polished heads and came across these for $500....thoughts??
This is a set of performance LT1 Chevy heads. They have been professionally ported and polished. They have new stainless 2.02 intake valves, and stainless 1.6 exhaust valves. After market springs for a .500 lift camshaft. The heads have a new 3 angle valve job, new seals and have been surfaced as well
I've been told $400 to get my LT1 head ported & polished and with the extras, $500 isn't a bad deal (even better when I sell my current heads)

ask for the casting nbrs. there were cast iron LT1 heads as well as aluminum made for our 2nd generation LT1 heads. since there were 1st gen LT1 heads also, I would make sure that you are looking at what you think you are looking at.
