Hello,I'm Robert a new C4 owner. It turns out that I need one right rear rim for my 1994 base coupe. My question is...Can I use a left rear rim on the right side? If not why? Thank You.
I believe your rims are designed to rotate in a certain direction to cool the brakes. Probably would work but you'd give up the cooling.
That's assuming you don't mind the wrong direction rim in relation to the other one.
Okay, I understand about the rim positions. I'm having a tough time locating a left rear OEM rim for my 94 coupe. I live in Palm Beach County, Fl. Does anyone know where I can find any locally. Thanks!

You absolutely can. Designed to help cool brakes, but unless you are going racing......
Also saw a study awhile back that said the cooling of brakes was not much different compared to having the wheels on backwards

OP - In nearly every major market in the US there's a vendor to the collision industry that exchanges alloy wheels or repairs them for the industry. Any large collision shop should be able to put you n touch with who's considered a responsible vendor in your area.
If you're not comfortable doing a Criagslist shopping "adventure" then I'd suggest one of the vendors to the industry.
Do you have a damaged that needs repair or do you need a replacement for one that doesn't match? What condition are your wheels in? If you have the damaged wheel you want to work with and use the "casting information" that's on the back-side of the damaged wheel you need.
If you post a snapshot of the wheel we could identify the mounting of yours as to the correct "directional" but snapshots won't identify wheel size unless it's a snapshot of the wheel back-side.
Most '94 MY cars would have 2 - 8 1/2" wide on he front and 2 - 9 1/2" wide on the rear.
