Help - 1984 Outer Door Panel Seals
I'm finally dusting off my 84 and wanting to put it back in service. I bought some replacement outer door seals and discover they attach differently. When looking for other replacements I find the same problem. I did buy my c4 early in the year. Maybe things changed mid year? The replacement seals have a clip attachment. The originals appear to 'pop' in. I'm attaching a pic in case someone has solved this problem before. Thanks for any advice. - Don

You need to be concerned with only the number of attaching points and confirm that all are correctly spaced. Check that first and proceed.
Here's a rather old discussion regarding them and a very good friend had this issue and asked regarding his '84. He had no issues.
