NCCC Convention
The NCCC Convention will be the week of Aug 21 this year in Bowling Green. There are fast and slow track days during the week. As an added bonus BG will experience a total solar eclipse on Aug 21 at 1044CDT, probably the only one you'll ever see in your lifetime.
The Holiday Inn is sold out, I found a few rooms at Super 8. Not sure if they're sold out because of the convention or the eclipse.
The center of totality is just south in Hopkinsville which is where I'll be setting up my telescope/camera rig.
If you're thinking about going somewhere to view the eclipse this is where you can kill two mosquitoes with one swat.
