Hello: I apologize in advance as I'm sure this question has come up in prior threads. I did search but could not find a post that addresses my specific question.
I have a 95 with original saw blade wheels. I am planning to upgrade to C5 Five Spoke chrome wheels. I want to continue to utilize my LTPWS but would prefer not having to remove the TPMS sensors from my current wheels. Are there replacement TPMS Sensors that I can install on the new wheels that will be compatible / programable to pair up with my 1995 LTPWS? Thanks, VetteFan66

There IS NOT!!! I would look into the new system that you can pair with either an Android device or an IOS device that will do TEMP and PRESSURE at every wheel.
iTPMS is one system that I've never seen and I think does Android also. By now there should be several choices so I'm not going to recommend any. The one I've seen used was originally done here in the US but the technology and Patent I believe got sold to an outfit the other side of the world - I've not seen them.
I appreciate the recommendations. I will search around and see what I can find. I was hoping that with modern technology, I could find a generic set that would transmit in the proper frequency to pair up with the 1995 transponder/receiver. I'll dig around. Thanks again!
OP - do NOT listen to this nonsense. Throw nothing away!
I wish I was joking. I'm trying to keep mine as original as possible. Not sure about the 95 sensors but sensors for my 90 was extremely hard to source and not very cheap at all. Cheapest I found was around $200 a piece.
I have an air gauge and at 30 psi the car drives straight as an arrow, if it starts pulling then I know I have a low tire. The only time a sensor is going to work is if you have a slow leak and you should be able to feel it.
Plus I could never get my "LTPWS" light to go off.
In 1995 the LTPWS system was a option as far as I know so not all '95 vettes had this option. When I purchased the car from the previous owner he let me know that one of the TPMS sensors had malfunctioned and he at the time could not buy a replacement sensor from any of the local sources he dealt with.
The LTPWS light was on all the time so he finally pulled the fuse to shut the light off. The only problem with pulling the fuse was that the LTPWS system is not the only item on that circuit so by pulling the fuse anything else that was on that circuit also gets shut off.
From what I understand about our C4 LTPWS system is that we have limited options when it comes to keeping this system working in it's stock form-in other words as far as I know we cannot just order any GM TPMS sensor for our given year vette and they will interchange. My understanding is the parts to our LTPWS system have a very limited supply if you can even get it.
Since I view the LTPWS system on my '95 as a option and not a necessity I am planning on pulling the bulb so I do not have to look at the light staying on when driving. My thought is I would always check my tire pressures on each tire on a regular basis anyway sense my '95 has a very basic LTPWS system that only triggers the light if a tire falls below a certain level but cannot tell you which tire it is or what the current readings are for each tire. I am not tampering with a safety item like a brake warning light or SRS light so since it was a option on my car it is "MY" option to use it or not.
Pulling a bulb in your dash is not irreversible or in any way damaging your car so it is simply a personal choice whether to use that option or not while you have the car. As mentioned already if I were going to use a LTPWS system on my 1995 I would update it to a after market system that would provide more information then our stock system does at a much better price and availability.

95Teal, thanks for the reply. I'm afraid I'm finding all the same things you point out. I am considering going with an aftermarket TPMS but I'll have to deal with the LTPWS light on. I'd rather not remove the light as I'm keeping the original wheels. I could simply remove the TPMS from the original wheels but I hate to disturb the tire. I've found a few of those "programable" sensors advertised, I contacted one manufacturer, Autel, with the compatibility question, have yet to hear back. So, we'll see. Anyway, thanks for your comments. Appreciated! Jim
I changed my wheels as well. Kept my Sawblades with sensors in them. I looked at the options of pulling the bulb but I did not want to take the car apart to get at it.
My local Corvette shop had a great idea. I put a small piece of black electrical tape over it. Hardly noticeable. Vets 'N Vettes

I did the EXACT SAME THING................one TPS went out, put flat black electrical tape over that area and you can't really notice it. Be a true driver and check your
tire pressures twice a month and with cold weather soon, your ride may need a few pounds to make up the difference.
We rely way too much on nannies when it's a matter of basic common sense and a few minutes spent on your personal ride. JUST MY HUMBLE .02
