I was hanging with Frank and John G 92 after the CCC today. The interior(Save for a few pieces still needing to be matched) Looks fantastic! I'm not the only nutcase who swapped an interior.
Re: Just about finished with my interior conversion (rainsux89)
Is that the 94-96 console? or did you just put your seat controls back in it. It would look cool converted to the later seat adj. switches. I like the seats and door panels.
Re: Just about finished with my interior conversion (blk90rdstr)
Bill, yes I modified the '93 dash to accept the 94-96 console pieces, mainly because the carpet came from a '96 already mounted to the plastic and I didn't feel like peeling off the carpet and regluing it to the '93 pieces and having to worry about the carpet fraying since I would have had to trim it to fit.
I still have to refinish the shifter console plate as you can see and I never noticed how dirty and dusty my dash is until I took these pics!
The door panels are from another '93, I actually bought them first, and in my search for carpet I came across the entire interior from the '96 and the price was the same almost for the entire interior as it was for just carpet, so I jumped on it.
I tried the '96 door panels first, they fit, but not to my satisfaction, so I stuck with the '93 door panels.
The light beige interior will be for sale as soon as I can snap some pics and find boxes to ship it in.

At my age insurance is about $1000 with a multicar discount, that's $1000 for each vette
Frank... at your age... aren't you getting all those senior and AARP discounts now? I'd figure your insurance would be like 30 bucks a year :p: :jester
