Hello, I picked up a set of Dynomax mufflers for my 87 because I had one muffler brake off the rear pipe! Should I be excited to put these on?? honestly I cant wait, but I am due to the rain and snow in Michigan and the car sits for now... Anyone had a set? cheers

Sorry said dynocast not dynomax!!

Super Turbo?

I picked up a Corsa Resonator delete pipe(true dual exhaust now )
I decided to allocate my Corsa exhaust money to a LLoyd Elliott package. If I'm not crazy on the exhaust sound, I had planned on replacing the stock mufflers with Dynomax Super turbos

I put a set on my 87 Callaway and absolutely love the sound. Louder than stock but not obnoxious. A true old school muscle car sound. they're kind of like the corsas in that while both tips flow, only one is primary, and I think this goes a long way to reducing done.

An 87 callaway, how beautiful, what a cool car. I'm so very excited to get my exhaust done. What is the purpose of the corse resonator delete pipe? This is news to me, I'm switching out my manifold for heads, going to a Y pipe, dropping the cat, but is this something to look into?

It deletes the resonator. 2 pipes enter and leave, but they "mix". The corsa pipe is basically 2 seperate pipes.

My car is a '96 w/ LT1, so I'm not sure it would be the same. If you have a L98 and don't want to do headers, look for LT1 exhaust manifolds. I did this for my buddy's '89 vette. Side by side there is a big difference, the only mod you have to do is "oval out" the exhaust flange(not a big deal)
