Route 66
Im at the Route 66 gathering right now....well, actually I ran over to work to post this but its only 2 blocks from the event. I saw a LOT of nice vettes! All generations and every year. The one thing I didnt see that I was hoping to was ZR-1's. I was also hoping to see some Corvette Forum signs or something to know if any of our brothers or sisters were here. Not to be though. If anyone is still going to go you have to see "Corvette Alley". Its on the south side of 4th Street between "D" Street and Arrowhead. a HUGE long line of beautiful Vettes and most were C4's. I snapped some pics and will post them as soon as possible. Its a beautiful bright blue sky California day here today and I think Im gonna head on out for a cruise to no place in particular in my vette now :yesnod: :cheers:

Well, shoot...Im bored...I think Ill head back out to look at some more vettes....sure would be nice to run into someone from the Forum there.

I live in Riverside but work in San Bernardino where they hold the Route 66 bash. My office is close enuff (2 blocks away) that its parking lot is always used by people going there. I walked my feet off today looking at cool cars. Saw a bazillion fine looking vettes too...Ill post pics as soon as I get them developed and scanned.
