You guys were a great help with steering me in the right direction on our key issue. Thank you all.
The 90 ZR1 is badly in need of new weather stripping. I have spent two days researching the issue with out really finding which product to go with. I see some is claimed to be USA made but actually comes from Turkey and some that seems to turn grey after very little time, some too stiff to even get the doors to close or top to fit. I don't want to do this again after a year or two. Your thoughts and sources would be great.
I second the Wilcox vote. Put two other sets of molding on my 95 and never could get it to install correctly. I've had the Wilcox stuff on for almost a year, it works great

Has anyone tried to fill the crack that develops at the rear of the side window strip? It closes up pretty good with the window down. Maybe black RTV? Just wonderin.
I just installed a full set on my 96 coupe.
After my research I went with corvette America. Pricey, but American made and the rep Jim was very helpful. Install was long and tedious....but I just did the paying part
Second vote for Corvette America's WS. I did both the windshield and the halo. Very pleased with both pieces. I need to do the hatch at some point and will def be ordering it from Corvette America.

I did. I just posted a thread on it. Wasn't the area you're asking about but maybe some of the info will be useful:
Started on the weatherstripping on the 90. Decided to go with Wilcox as it had gotten some good feed back. The original molding that runs up the halo sides is a closed cell fairly firm molding. What I received is hollow and not at all firm and does not even touch the window near the bottom. There is about an 1/16+ inch gapping spot nearly 2 inches long down to the door pannel. And yes it was beautifully prepared, installed absolutely correct. And the doors are straight. Poor choice.
