Bose system removal
When i bought the car the Bose system was already replaced with a pioneer unit.
It looks like an amplifier beneath passenger side rear storage was also removed.
While working on the heater core I found the receiver still installed but it had 2 connectors attach on inboard side two disconnected on outboard side.
Other than being the mount for the wire connector plate is there a need to keep it?
Does it need to be connected so the car has chimes and such?

Pull out the shop manual and do some wire tracing. You will know in about 2 minutes if you can safely pull it out.
