Rice or not?
Saw some NOS seat covers at my local Autozone. Black and Gray kinda caught my eye, but thought it may be ricey. was I right in not getting them?

If you like them then get them...don't let what others think make up your mind. Its your car and they aren't paying the note... Besides if you ask here on the forum then all you are gonna hear is" it it don't increase hp then its rice."

Nah, don't get them. We of the True Horsepower brotherhood don't pump speed products on our cars unless we're being paid for the ad space. :D

I gues I would have to see them before passing judgement. If they are tastefully done, I see no problem with it :yesnod:

Just going with NOS seat covers doesn't seem ricey to me. Now if you decide you need a NOS sticker on your car that's another story. My sport seats are needing covering and I can't decide if I want to go back with leather or change to Sparco Torino seats

It's only seat covers... you run NOS already.. I don't consider that rice at all. Of course they'd have to fit the vettes seat correctly thou.

Have you seen The Fast and The Furious? Rice means a lot of performance stickers and tricked out body modifications. The car being quick is usually secondary.

No way. :nonod:
Put your money elsewhere, like something useful. If you want seat covers, I hear Wet Okoles are good.

Show some pics.... I wanna see what they look like. My girlfriend is so silly. She actually wanted to buy some of those black and flames mats for her car (not a Vette). I talked her out of it. Anyways, I personally like to see Leather or Leatherette on Vettes, not covers.

I've seen your Vette a few of the local car shows and it looks great. It's your car and go with what makes you happy
