Wind noise

So i am shopping around for my first c4. I have driven only one. How much wind noise should I expect on a coupe with targa top?

The wind noise on mine is very minimal until about 75, and I hear a lot of noise coming from the top of the driver side window where it meets the weatherstripping. Seems to be the only spot on my car where I can hear it.

I drove a 95 coupe that had had some damage and winshield and too were replaced. I thought i was driving with the top off the wind noise was so bad

I'm thinking it will be more pronounced if it's got stock pipes, I got true duals with flow master and don't notice it much

Any car with a replaced windshield (from my experience) sounds nothing like the factory windshield, so much more noise

Purely subjective and based on a lot of factors.

One mans whisper is another mans wind tunnel.

You can mitigate noise by making sure your screws are tight, treating the rubber with silicone (Armor All), making sure you have an ACTUAL seal around your edges and adjusting windows.

BTW... my targa on my 91 is quieter than my 82 with T tops.
