My '87 Corvette...
Got new Bosch Injectors today. Also new distributor cap, rotary button, plugs, wires and filters. Washed, waxed and polished.
Stopped at Mickey D's for a quick meal before taking the scenic longer route back home.
While I was in line I heard a commotion. I looked around and saw smoke billowing in the parking lot.
My '87 burnt to the ground.

Did you replace the O rings in the fuel rail when you did the injectors? I bet they might have been dried out and leaked.

That really is a total loss. I hope your insurance will cover it. Looks like the fire started in the engine bay as that area has the most damage. Are you thinking that a fuel system leak may have caused the fire?

it looks like in the area of the alternator where the valve cover is gone. It looked like a nice car, sad to see.
