Default Steering Refresh and Lowering

I'm going to be lowering the front end of my 96 in a couple weeks with new wedges.

I'm going to refresh key components while I'm in there to try and tighten up steering if possible. Any recommendations on what I need to replace?

The car tends to be a little floaty at the front right when traveling at high speeds. Not sure if that's lift or if there's something warn.

How many miles? and is it all original?

I'd be looking at ball joints, sway bar bushings, control arm bushings, and new bilsteins. Also verify the universal joint and rag joint on the steering shaft is nice and tight. There is a plastic sleeve around the shaft where it meets the rack, verify the bolt that holds the coupler in place is tight as well.

125,000

The shocks are KYBs so they've been replaced at some point. I'll definitely check that joint and start putting a parts list together.

The rack itself has a bushing and sleeve that can be replaced as well. There are polyurethane versions available. Tie rod ends are another cheap item to look into for good insurance.
