She needs a little TLC, but is a solid car. Drove her 300 miles home. Loved every second of it.

Congratulations! Have you have a chance to look at your RPO sticker yet? You might have some interesting options.

First owner kept her 15 years, traded her her 2011, second owner bought her from dealer in 2012. Tranny overhaul by reputable shop (receipts), new carpet and interior panels refurbished (receipts), new radiator, (receipts), bone stock, with exception of stereo receiver. Otherwise she is bone stock, 160k. Runs strong.
so about the RPO sticker, where or how is it decoded.
shw will need and I have ordered weather strip, A pillar, B pillar and targa, all the rest looks to have been replaced or is in great shape. Coolant reservoir overflow pipe, nipple, barb (whatever you prefer) is cracked, new tank ordered.
got in her for less than 6k. Owner was much older retired gent. Seemed very meticulous about his stuff.
there is wiring for a accessories plug in the console, will any plug work?

Very nice!!! I recently landed a 95 with 99,990 miles on it. For the asking price ($6k) obo I was prepared for a project that needed lots of expensive parts. The PO, the 3rd owner, had done nothing to it except break the shift counsel cover in the 9 years he had owned the car. Much to my surprise the entire car is in excellent condition. Not a sign of abuse, corrosion or neglect and lots of parts have apparently been replaced. The entire interior looks newer and the undercarriage is clean. So far the only problem is non working AC and a missing remote. Congratulations on your find. It looks beautiful. Mine is yellow. Enjoy. PS, I got to roll it over 100k on my way home.

Nice Vette!

Welcome. Looks like a great deal too.

I remember driving my 89 home over 100 miles after picking her up. Smile never left my face

Congrats!

Congratulations. I am starting to really like the white on C4's. Really helps show off the curvature and lines of the body (probably more so than any other color).

Collecting data....Only early '96 Vettes had a Mobil 1 sticker under the hood down low near the air filter.

VIN 152 and 777 had it. VIN 1941 and later so far did not. What is the last five digits of your VIN and does it have the Mobil 1 decal?

Thanks for the reply. It surprised me though because I have earlier VIN's that do not have the decal.

Other things are possible,

1. Could yours have been added by a previous owner, like I almost did to mine?

2. The factory may have attached then on limited basis due to availability at the time of production.

We may solve this as new data is received from others.

Thanks.
