Why don't you stop this annoying 'ask a question' pop up?

What pop up? I am not seeing anything. Are you sure it isn't your system that is infected?

He's not infected. It's there if you are not logged in. Just log in and it goes away.

Sign in, and check the "Remember Me" box (maybe called "Stay Signed In"??). That way when you exit the Forum without logging out and launch it later on, you will be signed in and the popup will not appear.

Lots of complaints in the HELP section about it, but apparently IB wants it. Also helps to use an ad blocker of some sort.

Just don't expect it to always keep you logged in. It doesn't always work for me with this and many other forums.

I think the "Cookie" used for the stay logged in refreshes after a month..

And/or if you use "Super-ANti-Spyware" or Malware bytes or anything that cleans out your cookies is why you get logged out...

I do not regularly clear out my cookies, and I've had to log in after as little as a day. It's not a big deal as the browser remembers my info. But it means you have to deal with little things like this when you aren't logged in.

Hmmmm... Well one thing I noticed is if I logged in with a social profile, it never would keep me logged in...in fact, it would log out in the middle of typing a question and/or message...once I changed my password and used the local account to log in it fixed it...

I use the local account - never the social stuff. I literally just had to log in again to post this message.

I've never seen this before. Maybe my Adblock Plus block it?
