Door panel Replacement - DONE
Just finished replacing both door panels.
When I bought the car the passenger side wasn't staying on across the top and the drivers was only holding because of a huge silver wood screw right through the final in the upper rear corner. Add that the passengers door handle was held on with more of the wood screws and they ended up looking like crap.
Huge thanks to Jason at vette2vette. Got a pair of great looking panels
and they got them here really fast.
I replaced all of the little plastic screw inserts except for the middle one on the door handle cover. There are 12 per door. Most of mine were brittle from age.
Luckily the two I didn't change were good, since those would require drilling out rivets holding the door latch handle.
I bought these. They had a bag of 100 $7.89 shipped. They aren't Amazon Prime but still free shipping and had them in 4 days.

That's a good thing to do. I replaced mine a few weeks ago when I had to strip down the drivers door to replace the window regulator. fortunately those little clips are inexpensive and are available all over.
V2V is really good. I've used them in the past for parts on my 95 as well.
