Little Help on a drivers power seat 1984
1984
Years ago discovered drivers side went forward but not back
Vette shop got it back and since only driver NBD until other day
one of my grandkids hit switch seat going forward all the way
About time too correct
I picked up another console switch at a swap meet years ago
5.00 bucks take a chance . Eventually fixing. From a 88
Yesterday Removed bottom of drivers seat exposing everything
All positions operate at the control switch except reverse
Noticed 2 red wires in connector
Putting tester on one of the red I got power forward nothing reverse
Other red draws no power at all
Yesterday Easter family was over so only spent a few minutes , today with quiet will get back too it.
Is there a fuse someplace for the dead red ?
Does the second red operate return? or the return is off of the red with 1/2 power?
If I want too jump so I can get seat back what wiring . Can I put power too the dead red or the dead side of the red with power too get it back
I cant drive this way
Does motor require any oil ?
as usual thank you

Here's '84 seat wiring diagram. You should be able to sort from here what you need to accomplish to "jumper" and move seat back.
