Hello,
I recently got my corvette back from Westside corvette, it was a good experience. I had exhaust work done, but the mechanic let me know my kick down cable seemed lose, he tightened it and said it was still kinda loss. I didn't have him check to see if it was working correctly. Now that I think about it my corvette doesn't seem to down shift correctly. Can someone assist me into how I check to see if it is connected correctly at the Trans? I want to make sure its still hooked up well.
hello, maybe you can give a bit more advance, today I got under the car to check out the kick down cable, I had a friend press the throttle down, my bet was that this lever, shown in the picture, should've moved. Is this the case? Because it did nothing, which to me seems strange... am I lookin in the right place?

No, no.. That is the shift cable.
The TV cable (NOT a "kickdown") termination can't be seen from underneath, as it goes through the case on the passenger's side and attaches to the Valve Body.

if if I were to drop the trans pan would I have a good view of the cable attachment point?
PS: It attaches to a little linkage on the TV plunger. The plunger is spring loaded, so if you are wondering about it and if it is working, you can just pull the end of the cable and it should spring back.
