Regardless, call Wilcox. Of any vendor, that's the guy I'd trust with a question like that. If they have two "levels", pick the one he recommends.
10 years ago, I picked the lower-quality (non-NCRS). I got if from Mid-America (I think). It was a set they started to install "in-house", then swapped to the higher quality. It was black. I received substantial discount and picked it for that reason. It was probably 25% off or thereabouts.
I too, dynomatted my car (per se). There was a bit of "fitting" here/there but the important areas were pre-molded. If anything, I think I had to wrestle an area/two behind the seats OR in the cargo area. Hard to remember after all this time.
Point being....I wasn't disappointed with the quality, fit, or amount of effort necessary to redo the car. I didn't bother to read the link you provided because of the timeframes and because I suspect FLAWED carpet is returnable.
The post above is probably indicative of the fact it's going to require SOME work. But it's not that hard. Basically, you cut/trim with a box knife to achieve good fit. Again, important areas: like floor pans, jam transitions, tunnel humps, etc... SHOULD be pre-molded. And, Wilcox SHOULD be the best place to point you to the quality/brand best fit for your needs. And, if they carry that brand, you'll like their policies.
ive researched scotchbrite and it doesnt advertise as a uv protectant. same with 303.
looking for a spray on and maybe scrub in that will give the carpet protection from fade.
