Default 89 Blend door test procedure

I think the blend door actuator on my 89 w/auto climate control died. The door was stuck in the open position and would not move. I disconnected the actuator and the linkage is fine, the door moves freely. I scrolled from 60* to 90* on the temp display and the actuator moved once, but now does not move at all. Does anyone have wiring diagram for the 5 wire plug going to the actuator ? I am guessing 12v hot, gnd, ?. Before I go and hunt down a new actuator I want to be sure the control unit is sending the right signals. Thanks.

There are two wires for the electric motor to move it in one direction and also in the opposite direction. There is a "sense" wire that tells the HVAC control head the position of the door. This schematic shows the connections:

I have had trouble with pasting in .PDF files and then not coming through so you might have to click on the link to see it.

Thanks Cliff, I figured you would know what I was looking for. Only one problem, no picture or link is showing up for me. Could you try to PM it to me ?
Thanks,
Pat

Well I took the programmer out today and it looks like the two resistors on the top left of the board are burned out. I would post a pic, but my camera just broke. Anyway, does anybody know what value they are ?

I think if you emailed Bryan Batee he could tell you. You might even be able to find something on his web site. He has a lot of info on there about troubleshooting the C68 system.

I had to replace the resistors on mine about 15 years ago. Don't remember the value, but there are some photos of them on various websites in which the color code indicates 340 Ohms. I'd get at least 5 watt resistors and space them off the board to allow better heat dissipation.
