I changed my oil and filter today. Now I can't get the oil change light to reset. I've followed instructions in the manual, but it stays on solid. I tried disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes, no luck. What the heck? 93 Coupe.

You must have missed a step or process. I know when I've done it in the past I always end up missing a step and have to do it several times.

That's what I thought so I went on utube. Turn key on, don't start. Press eng met twice then press gauges button. Supposed to flash then go out

You have to hold the gauges button. Don't just press it.

If that doesn't work, I would guess one of the buttons is not working, or you aren't pressing firmly.

Ok, so after I got in the car to drive home from work, I gave it one more try. Thanks guys.
The ENG MET button doesn't do anything with the engine running or off. I took that piece of the console off to work on the radio and bypass the Bose speakers.
