Help! With everything turned off the blower for the front window defroster will not turn off. I had to disconnect the battery for it to stop. I think it might be a relay switch but I do not know where it is located? Has anyone had this problem? Engine and panel is turned off. My corvette is a 1995. It only has 36000.00 miles on the car.

I know on other car companies when the system goes bad it will default to defroster on always. You may want to clean the switches on the front panel --not sure though if that is the prob.

You might have an issue with your "final stage resistor" --- which is pretty common.

The resistor is located on the passenger side near the fire wall around all the HVAC stuff and will have about 6-8 wires going into a single block.

Disconnect the plug and see if your fan vent stops. If it does then get yourself a new resistor.
