My wife gets very emotionally attached to her cars. She names them. Typically I don't get attached to my DD's so they do not get a name. My Corvette is different. She deserves a name. At first my Competition Yellow was going to be "Bumble Bee" in honor of the Transformer's Camaro but my wife snagged that name for her yellow Juke. So I thought maybe "bid bird", of Sesame Street fame. But it just doesn't seem to fit. I think I'm going to go with "chicken little". Back in my youthful years I had a 57 Chevy that I dubbed "Chicken Little". I kinda like it. I'm still seeking a name for my bright orange C3. "Orangy" is just too cheesy. "Orange Crate" would be more appropriate. How about you? Any cool monikers on your Vette?
This is a great thread! Mine's called Adriana or AD for short.
I kept thinking of names and just went w/ Adriana bc of Adriana Lima. She was my celeb/super model crush as a teen. Cheesy but I dig the name and I take care of her like I would the real Adriana
The wife calls the Vette Betty, only cause it kinda rhymes. My name for her was Roxy, but it didn't stick. Now I just call her The Vette. I'll have to come up with something else if I get another one lol.
Suprisingly none of my vehicles have had names, many of my friends cars do and I call their cars by the names given to them, My trucks the truck and the Vettes the Vette when spoken about in conversation. I'd probably name them if I ever found a name that clicked and sounded right.
The wife has not branded the black 94 C4 yet, but she called the 1970 dart swinger 10 second drag car I used to have The Green Mistress. Had to let it go when diagnoused with 3 bad vertibry in neck, Drs. said no more wearing helmet, sold and got the C4 reg. plate is GUN IT nice to have a fine street car, it's a blast to drive, and no problem if I want to pass someone your going 90+ by the time you get next to them from 40
