V01 / B4P cooling package
Hey, just got the RPO code sheet from National Corvette Museum and found my car has both the V01 (Heavy Duty Radiator) and B4P Radiator Cooling Boost Fan options. The car runs very cool and I am wondering if anyone else has this package of options. Are they usually sold together? Should I consider myself lucky to have these options? I've heard the C4 cars can run hot and while everything seems to run properly, the car gets up to 230 degrees (at idle) before the fan kicks on and starts pulling the temps down. What would the temps look like without these two options I wonder...

My '92 runs about 190 (+/- 5) without the cooling options. Never in idle long enough to exceed 200.

These are common options, I have them. The front fan comes on at a higher temp to push air through the radiator. Your temps are normal.
