Help needed

There is a 1991 corvette for sale locally that has been parked for about 10 years.
The cable that releases the hood latch is broken. Can anyone tell me how to get the hood open?

I guess it's about anonymity. It's hard for me to get too concerned that someone might steal my C4.

Especially since one is on Craigslist already.

If they stole both the '95 and the '96 I would be heartbroken. Until the insurance check arrived.

I am currently trying to get the passenger side opened. My issue is the cable came off when I pulled the emergency cable that I install (to prevent this nightmare) with it. Now there is nothing attached to that part, whatever its called so any suggestions. It can only be accessed from the front as my 96 has AC to the inside of the hood latch.
Help needed!
