Instrument cluster
My trip monitor key pad is not communicating with my instrument display. The eng/met does change display on hvac unit. 1996 LT1 coupe. Everything worked fine when parked three days ago.
Today when I turned key to run position I did not have anything on the speedo display, nothing but backlight, and hvac was reading metric. I do not use metric. I turned ignition on an off multiple times and used key pad with no difference. This afternoon, I tried again and now I have display. Speedo reads zero, trip meter is displayed in metric, fuel gauge is reading as when last driven. I used the keypad and nothing on display would change. The hvac would change between metric and english with use of keypad. driving the car, the speedo just reads zero......

This guy does great work, prices are within reason, and fairly fast turn around. Many on here have used him including myself. He has videos showing how to fix cluster yourself and you can buy parts thru him. I tried to fix it mysikf and screw up something. Sent it to him, and works like brand new now. Have never seen a complaint against him. POST a note asking if anyone has used him.. as far as instrument panel goes, folks think he almost walks on water.. he is THE "go to guy" in my opinion. best of luck
