Difference in front suspension
Frame has been converted to C4 front suspension.
Reading it appears there were a difference somewhere in the years??
How do I determine what's..what?
The mounts on the frame that accept the two studs from the upper
A arm.......rear hole is lower than front.
Car came with complete C4 suspension that is still bolted together
And the holes are the same Heighth.
Does this tell me something??
Thanks
Dave

Here's an '88+:

Some of your posting is confusing! The C4 suspension is mounted and the chassis/car is a roller/driver? C4 stuff was delivered with purchase but not added to car? Is the chassis on the '57 an OE/GM or a custom done by maybe SRiii or another vendor.

I think the intent was for a change in handling. The differences between early ('87-) and late('88+) is more than just where the flats are located. The geometry has been changed too. The changes resulted in some parts that don't interchange and the need for different offset wheels.
