I was working under the drivers dash putting the trim panel back on. Now the passenger side power door lock does not work. I assume I cut or pinched a wire. what color wire would it be? I don't see anthing.

drivers side power door lock works fine.
thanks!

In my 88 FSM it shows as a tan for lock and gray for unlock.
Thanks guys! I will take a look at this this evening. I think I am going to need to pull the seat from now on when I have to work under the dash. 6'5" 245 and recent bilateral knee replacement makes it really uncomfortable and awkward to get under the dash. I could not get the lower trim piece installed before cramps set in!!!
the passenger side door does not work at all now. I have to lock and unlock that one manually. The drivers side door works fine for both lock and unlock using the switch.
There is no aftermarket remote unlock installed. Everything worked fine till I crawled my big but under there to put the lower trim panel on. The one below the column with the courtesy light.
I finally got around to checking the wiring on the left hand side kick panel while I was replacing the window sweeps.
I have no function at all on the passenger door.
I have lock function on drivers but not unlock. The lock function seems to have a hesitation before fully locking.
There were 2 wires put together with household yellow wire nutts!!I untwisted the nuts and it looked like the wire nuts did twist the wires together.
The wires were brown to brown and black to black
The diagram provided by cdm747 shows a black and a brown with black stripes. I did not have my glasses last night so could not see if the brown had black stripes. I did not see a grey at all.

Your car is what year?
I thought '90 and if that's the case the CCM is involved in operation and the earlier diagram posted is only similar NOT the same.
Since you've stumbled upon some wire nuts I'd suggest if you have the FSM see 8A-130-0 for the diagram and the following 3 - 5 pages for diagnostics.
Thanks! I will look at the FSM again. I have the one on disk so I may have scrolled too far.
Not knowing whose disc you have I maybe can't help but if you open the book 2 (electrical) in the left pane there should be links to the content. Click on DOOR LOCKS and it should take you directly to 8A-130-0. After opening you might need to click on the "bookmarks" icon to open the left pane for use.
Save the disk to your hard-drive and I believe it should be much easier to use.

I tried saving it to hard drive but wouldn't let me. it would only allow going out to the site after I did the install and entered the license. very aggrevating!!
