hey guys, i need some simple guidance...i just picked up a 92 today with sport seats...i am familiar with the 94-96 sport seats but i've never owned anything older than 95 (i've had 2 96's and I currently have a 95). there are 3 buttons and a switch...the switch seems to fill air to the lumbar but what do the 3 buttons do? they dont do anything when pushed and i dont hear any motors or pumps clicking or engaging.

They perform the same functions as the sport seat in the 94-96 model years. The buttons were just moved from the seats to the center console.

thanks! it's been 14 years since i've had 96 sport seats...if i recall the buttons would then just control the 3 section of back lumbar? do the side bolsters function on the 92 sport variety?

Yes, the buttons just release air for each of the 3 bladder sections.

There is a switch on the front of the seat that controls the drive motor/flex shaft for side bolsters.
