Power Window problem, need quick advice
For the better part of the last 2 months both passenger and driver side power windows have been getting slower and weaker sounding. Well this morning my drivers side window was down all the way and on the way back up it made a grinding noise, then came up a little more and stopped while grinding about 3/4 way up. It will go up and down fine from all the way up to about 25% down then grind.
From the threads I have searched it seems that the motor is kaput.
For those who have ran into the same issue is this a motor issue or a whole regulator issue?

The way to bet is that it is a motor issue. You will of course want to lube up/service the regulator when you have things apart.
