the last couple times out I noticed the throttle seems to be sticking open a little - usually a blip of the gas pedal remedies the issue but I wondered if there was a preferred cleaner or lube that could be used to get rid of this?
thanks - yes I think I have already hit or surpassed this years budget - unless something changes - I also read about a dry ptfe lube for cables - have you heard anything about that?
Don't forget to check the cruise control cable, I had a frayed cable that was preventing the throttle body returning fully.
Don't forget to check the cable shield is secure to the cruise control, found mine would pop out at times on stomping the pedal hard and not pop back into the recess. Just had to crimp it to hold the cable outer sheath in place, another problem solved.
Is a good idea to remove the retaining clip and move each cable from throttle body and feel for any resistance.
