What is the plastic frame around the actual glass mirror, exterior (drivers side) that connects to the trunion? 1984 vette. Where can I purchase one. Thanks!
When I needed one, I bought a used mirror from an ebay vendor, took out what I needed and installed it in my own mirror.
same here, except it was on my 85. I lucked out and found a GM NOS service replacement mirror assembly (mirror/plastic back/wiring pigtail) off fleabay. I had to replace the pot-metal 3-sided bracket, so I cannibalized an old door mirror assembly, and pretty much rebuilt the whole thing with new and used parts. pretty sure all and any GM C4 replacements are long discontinued.
