Ok guys, here's a strange one...the middle segment on the digital LCD of the climate control will not display. If the outside temp is say 85* it will show as "05". Any temp starting with "7" reads fine. But not "8", or "6" for that matter. All other functions of the climate control work perfectly. Anyone else encounter this problem? It's something I can live with, but if it's something internal that can be fixed I'll give it a a shot.

You might ask Brian (batee.com) if he's familiar with the 7 - segment LCD module that's used in the control. I'm quite sure it's a 7 segment affair. Some are very inexpensive. You might not be able to control the color/back-light choice.
That kit doesn't address the LCD that the OP is interested in. I've never seen Brian address the LCD in any of his operations. I ain't seen but 1 or 2 but I believe I understand what he's accomplishing.
I'm doing some back-light bulbs for a later GM radio with a bad display but it's very different I believe.

I'd bet he has a solution. The Ebay link is a start.

The "kit" is bulbs and capacitors - the kit is in just 1 image. The C68 control is just there as a "reference" as to what the kit is for. I'm pretty damn sure. Could be wrong but that's why I suggested just asking Brian. He shows bulb and capacitor replacement in a tutorial. I've never seen him do a tutorial that addressed the LCD
