car cuts off
what could be the issue with a 1992 vette just dies after about 20-30 minutes of driving,cranks but wont start.then after about 2 hours starts up like nothing was wrong

it is LT1,someone is selling it and then then mentioned this issue,saying they had almost whole computer system replaced,and still does it,so I was seeing if it could possibly be an easy inexspensive fix or stay clear of it being this would be our first vette

It could be a few items. You would have to duplicate the problem and do some testing while it won't start. Some of the suspects are the ignition control module, coil, ecm and optispark distributor. Here's a thread to read to give you an idea, https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-and-dies.html
