What happens if I put a speaker enclosure in my 93 that doesn't have the same number on the amp? it's used and came out of a 93. can it affect the other three in any way?

Can it? I'd think unlikely if it's 'comparable'. Many use 'other than GM' for Bose replacements - thousands have likely been done and I'd say successfully.
Maybe you post both part#'s for a comparison by others as to what you've actually got your hands on.
If it is a different part number it probably has different equalization, meaning it won't have the same frequency response as the speaker on the other side. The amps are independent and only share the power from the same source. The part numbers would help in deciding what the difference(s) is/are.
I haven't received it yet so I'm not 100 percent sure what the numbers are. I will post when it comes in the thanks Jim
the enclosures are all the same and the amps all have a 6-pin connector. i JUST did a 3-part video series on my 92 (convertible) Bose amp repair and swap. i had a damaged board on one on my original 92's so i used a spare 95 coupe i had laying around...the only difference was a capacitor in C150 so yes the equalization is slightly different but i dont really notice a difference
Thanks mark, I did check your video last week or so when you posted it. Not something I would attempt. but as it turns out I took a deposit on my 93 ragtop so my radio issues are a non issue right now. actually did pretty well got 14500. for it although it is in awesome condition, now i'm off to get another c4 ragtop which will be my 7th. can't say i'm a glutten for punishment because I have never been dissatisfied with any of them. thanks again

i'm in the same boat, I'm on my 4th late model C4 and I have very good luck this far...knock on wood I guess. Good luck!
and btw...that Bose project was my first ever attempt at anything of that nature, I even bought all the tools just for that job and I was still able to do it, don't cut yourself short! That's the whole goal for my channel...to show that some of this stuff is not as difficult and challenging as it may appear.
It looks a little to delicate for me. I'm a plumbing heating cooling and building contractor not sure how successful I would be with that type of work. I mentioned earlier that I took a deposit on my 93 aqua metallic ragtop. I just cut an awesome deal on a 29000 mile true 40th anniversary edition. that makes 11 vettes 7 being c4s. not sure if I had mentioned in 84,85 and 86 I purchased new ones loved everyone of em. on my way to a patriots game in my 86 a guy in a z28 decide he'd like to race. I had that car up to 145 and couldn't feel it. needless to say I blew the doors off of the z28
