Default fender hash marks

Hi
I own a 1984 corvette copper in colour. I'm asking would it look good with fender hash marks. And should I do it or leave it the way it is
thanks

Probably not. The only one I seen other than a GS that worked was a member here.

That's a really nice color although not an original color for 1984. I think I would leave it as is or maybe use black. The red GS-style hashmark color could clash with the copper color.

Hi
I painted the car a 1986 copper colour. It was painted bronze color before and the paint job was very good so I changed it and I love the copper color. I was looking at black fender hash marks if I put them on.

This is totally your call. My car before I did the bumper swap was black with silver marks and my car now it is admiral blue with black hash marks. Purists say don't do it but I love the way the hash marks look.

You can! lol

It's austinseanchris 's car. He has more pics in his profile if you want to see them. I only recognize his car because he inquired about me making him some color matched decals and I was just going through all kinds of stuff and didn't have the time to sit down and re-do the logo.

OK, you guys have now got me interested in adding GS hash marks to my Black Rose '93 autocross car.

I'm thinking black because the car has black 5-spoke GS wheels (real '96 GS coupe wheels). What's a good source for vinyl stripe kits?

Pretty sure I got mine on ecklers. I tried vettestripes.com but the stripes fit like crap and they were not even the same style as the Grandsport stripes. (They were designed to go right to the wheelwell, where the OEM grandsport stripes stop at the bodyline that follows the wheel opening) The cut was terrible (uneven cut) and when I tried to return them I had to open a paypal dispute because the guy wasn't willing to refund my money. Ecklers also came with an "alignment decal" attached that you place up against the headlight opening and it positions the decal perfectly. Once you get them on just remove the temporary alignment decal and done. Inexpensive as well.

Silver or Black hashmarks will pretty much go well on any color.

Looked at the Eckler's GS stripe kit but it looks like they only carry black, red, and silver. I did find another vendor (a former CF Vendor no longer here) that carried a wide variety of stripe colors but I'm just concerned about the vendor's reputation.

After seeing the pics, I think that black may be the way to go for my '93.

For the most accurate, genuine style, you could do it the way they did it on the original C2 racing GS's! Duct tape!

I made my own - went to a "quick" sign shop - unlimited number of colors - $10 bucks - dimensions are on here - do a search - took about 30 minutes!
