New splitter installed

The splitter is no lower than the black plastic air dam pieces were. I am just going to have to be careful
Tomorrow I am going to start installing the camber brace.

I am a firm believer in not putting my license plate, street address, etc up where everybody in the world can see it. It is a photo edit, of course.

Maybe I will get a fake license plate like the magazines, shows, businesses use when they take photos and cover the plates.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
What firmed up your belief in hiding your plate? I tend to drive around in public with mine.

If it is so bad about me hiding my license plate, maybe all of you post yours, along with your address and phone nbr's.

As it would take a connection with the state highway department to get anything from my plate, they're above "pay grade" for my concerns.
But then, I AM an *** lib, friend.
And in case you were asleep, the current administration just gave away all your personal private web information to the highest bidder.
Here's my plate. Do your whiny best.

Plate numbers are good for CarFax reports but not much else unless you are LEO and have access to the DMV database. Even then you won't get too much that isn't easily available somewhere else.

no wonder a lot of people think that folks that have Corvettes are d-h'es

With that being said, some people hide their license plates because some DMV's allow you to look up information based on them supposedly, so someone could get your home address and phone number.
Privacy isn't a big deal here though, as they don't even privately register the domain corvetteforum.com. You can do a whois on it and suddenly realize this website isn't own by someone who likes Corvettes, as they also own a pro ford website, a pro lexus website, and of all things, a pro honda site.

Grr I was going to become a gold member, but now I'm having second thoughts.

If you chase the chain far enough uphill and then do a lookup on the business plan, you will realize what the ulterior purpose of these forums really are.
I used to belong to a travel trailer forum. An incident caused me to look up and chase the chain and I found out that the website, as well as others in the "enthusiast community", was owned by a company that did data mining and provided fixes back to the sponsoring companies so they could let the user community do their QC for them and provide them their fixes to their defects.
I confronted one of the members asking him/her if the "persona" they had created wasn't just one of the company's and they were actually an employee of the company acting as a shill to keep the discussions going.
There was utter silence as the answer. I would suspect, that there are company people on this site. CF is not data mining back to any company (from what I found) but does have a purpose that is generating income for multiple parties, the owners included of course. They are not doing it out of love for the cars as you said.
I spent 28 years in IT and found out that people that work with the web have an inflated opinion of themselves and think that no one can find out about them or hack their site, etc, when in fact there are legal and proper tools (such as "whois") that allow you to see the registered owner. Then all you have to do is keep hopping the chain until you find the parent company.
Once you pull up the skirts you will disappointedly surprised. Just like my classmates back in high school who picked up a "woman" one night and were really surprised.
We will see how long these 2 posts last and if you and I get offed electronically for spilling the beans so to speak.

Of any car forum I've been on, I honestly think this place is the nicest. The z31 drivers were all stuck on themselves, and the G35 people were more helpful but not quite as much as this place is. I've learned so much here already!
