Just ground out the fan like said above and it will come on when the keys on. I did that on my 84 for summer driving then unground it for winter driving
They sell radiator fan control kits at advance auto. (They used to be in stock on the shelves) It uses a rheostat and a probe that gets stuck into the radiator fins. Turns on and off at the set temperature. I used to use one on my old 89' Camaro. Seemed to work ok, WAY better than a stupid manual switch. (which I used for maybe a season prior to getting this kit) The problem I had was the car would always overheat when I let someone drive the car as I would forget to tell them to turn the switch on for the fan.
