fuel pump
I have change the fuel pump four times. new wiring, new pig tail to regulator, new regulator all the at one time. Runs then third of forth start up fuel pump bad again. Dont get it. Do not know where to go from here. 1986 C4 standard 350.

It should be fairly obvious by now that the fuel pump is not the problem.
Does the fuel pump run for 2 seconds when the ignition is first turned on? If it does not, then will the engine start if you let it crank for 5 to 10 seconds?
Answer these two questions and then we can go into more specific details...

Cliff is on the right track. What happened when you turn the key to just on, on? Did you change thr "sock" and the fuel filter? Trash in the tank? You mess with the fuel regulator? Is the oil topped off?
