Got the car I guess about a month-ish ago. Low mileage car that is mechanically sound, but cosmetically in driver condition at best. So far I've replaced all the weather stripping with the exception of the two small pieces on the targa top. It has a stress crack and no sense putting on the new pieces since I'm looking for a new top. I removed the gold corvette letters on the back and just ordered two new emblems to replace the gold ones . I've yet to order new door handles to replace, you guessed it, gold handles . I plan to plasti-dip them black as a temporary fix until I get the new ones. I replaced the sawblades with 17x9.5 replica pace, zr1, collector wheels. Today I cleaned/ dressed the interior and door jams. I will buff the paint in the next week. Luckily detailing cars is me in my 'wheel house'. Just felt like sharing. Going to put her on the road this week and start enjoying her. Oh, PS I'm looking for a front plate filler. And yes, I need to remove and retint the now purple window tint. Haha

Gave the paint a buff last week ish ago, though I only took out the oxidation and light scratches for now. Once I'm done tickering, I'll cut the clear down more. For now I buffed it with Meguiar's M205 with a rotary buffer followed by the same with a D/A. Topped that with Meguiar's ultimate liquid wax and then my favorite, ultimate fast finish.
Gave her a wash today and another coat of ultimate fast finish and snapped some pics.
I painted the door handles on my 84 body color (black) and it has been on since 2012 and still holding just fine. I painted them with the B/C clear when I refinished the whole car.
