WOW, my favorite C4. I was actually thinking about trying to find a really nice one like yours.

Came home from work like a ten year old with a new toy! Snapped a few daylight pics and then out for a spin in the neighborhood to get used to the clutch since it's been 30 years since driving a manual. Not even one stall or sputter!

C4 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
Very very nice. I would be torn but if you can afford it .. it's going to be a blast to drive around. And while the resale price may suffer ... the more that you drive it .. the more that the car will like it

Thanks, the Admiral Blue truly looks best when in direct sunlight. It just goes nuclear with shine. While I wanted something that would hold value I also wanted a "driver". I'll probably keep it to around 500 miles a year.

Congrats on purchasing the most beautiful Corvette of all time (my opinion of course). You said the tires are NOS. Does that mean that they are very old, but no miles? If so, I would be hesitant to drive on them.

Supposedly Kerbeck bought and stored a bunch of GS-C's near the end of their run. I can't verify their age but they were definitely stored in a proper environment as they aren't dry, cracked, etc. but soft and pliable like a new tire.

Smart buy. The GS is the pick of the litter when it comes to C4's. ZR-1's not included. There should be a date on the tires if you're really concerned. I'm still running factory tires on my 02 Z06 and it's almost time for new rubber.

Congrats on the GS, but if I were you, I would ditch the NOS tires (unless you trailer it back and forth to judging events). If you plan to drive it at all, old tires, even if they look new - are dangerous.

Can you point me in the direction of where on the tire I should look. Is the date clearly a date....as in 9/3/2017 or is it something more cryptic?
