Ok, so this should be my last post for what seems like a trivial question.

My 88 is getting there. Nothing is stock on it.

My fuel lines are gone, and im making new ones. Currently, im running a 4bbl on a 383, but i have a by-pass regulator so that in the future if i switch to EFI i already have the return line to tank (which BTW, couldnt believe how easy it was to use the stock tank pickup tube- if you take fuel pump out, you can use the return line for the feed, and the feed for the return. Didnt think the return went all the way down to tank- 3/8 hose even fits onto the nipples on the sender! - anyways...)

So, trying to run (2) 3/8 hard line under vechicle in the stock location under pass door is not easy (espicially laying on your back lol) I can run just one, and have the return meet up to the feed in the engine compartment, but would perfer to do it the right way and have the return go right back to the tank.

So at this point i might just run one line to the engine and deal with a return in the future (after i convince my wife to let me buy a lift lol)

So i guess im looking for ideas of anyone that ran their own fuel lines. BTW, my fuel pump and filter is - or will be - where the spare tire was. Still need to make a bracket for those today.

Thanks again everyone....Im getting close - trying to maybe drive up and down my driveway this year before it snows lol!!!!!!!

Ok, so i ran aluminum lines in the channel under the pass door like factory...Ill never use steel again! The lines seemed to bend themselves in even without tools!

And then what shows up today? A new Zip catalog, that offers COMPLETE steel and SS lines premade!

Oh well

I’ll try to get some pics for you. I ran 2 #8 steelbraided lines for my fuel up the passenger side. A feed line and a return line. My vette is now where near stock either.

Oem has been using nylon for years, pretty easy to work with.
