help with CEL codes
I have a 96 LT1
I bought it 3 weeks ago and am slowly fixing what needs fixed.
I was getting CEL codes for bank 1 sensor 1 so I had it replaced.
Now I am getting P0400 It does not seem to change anything when it is on and I clear it.
The car has straight pipes all the way back with the cats gutted.
I noticed on the driver side there is a pipe coming off the exhaust manifold that has been cut and welded closed. I think this is what is causing the code. My question is, can that code be turned off somehow in the PCM? I had several things turned off on my C5 LS1 but the guy that did it says he does not work on LT1's.
