that car has been floating around awhile. there's a lot of things suspicious, especially with the carefully "cropped" photo of the odometer - digits just don't add up. this thing surfaced here earlier this spring, seems they tried to sell it thru barrett-jackson and even fleabay. from an earlier B-J site, it was noted "the mileage indicated not on the title," therefore, it's not title certified through the current state's DMV. the owners can say whatever they want, but if anyone is serious about this one, i'd be careful. as they say, "caveat emptor -- let the buyer beware." here's an earlier thread - some posts brought up some interesting questions about the car -- https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...000-miles.html
that 85, with owner claimed 2K, odometer's indicating 22K miles, and (maybe) legally, and technically, unknown through any DMV - I hope the owner's not holding his breath on getting his price, but then again, P.T.Barnum said it all....

Barnum is often credited with having coined the phrase “there’s a sucker born every minute” in reference to his gullible customers, yet there is no proof of him ever using it. The quip’s precise origins are unclear, though some claim one of Barnum’s rivals may have first said it after seeing crowds queued up for one of his exhibits. For his part, Barnum always maintained that his patrons were not “suckers” but willing participants in his lighthearted pranks and hoaxes. “The people like to be humbugged,” he once said.
Well according to the computer that car is getting 10.3 mpg so...
Yes, because when you simply start the car and move it around, but dont drive it, the mpg calculator is inaccurate... We all know a good running C4 does much better than 10 mpg. Its the tone in which he is suggesting that its not driven because its a pig.... thats BS.
