As stated above, Batee.com can fix it for you. He repaired the LCD on my 1992, and now it works perfect.

You're not alone. I have the same issue randomly - speedo hangs up (yesterday I was going 42 mph while sitting at a red light 
) Today it worked fine all day. I know long term what I need to do but will live with it a little longer.

If I could ask a favor, please post here what their lead time is. Wonder if they are actually busier in the winter, when many of us have to put them away. I'm away for the next 3 weeks but hope when we get back I'll have at least 2 months left to drive it, even if it means living with the intermittent freeze-up. Once it snows would be a good time to pull it out and send it to them, it can sit torn apart all winter.

I will let you know what I find out. I am the same....the sun is out so am I for a ride. Stored for the winter though. Too much salt on the roads in Toledo Ohio area.
