You're not alone. I have the same issue randomly - speedo hangs up (yesterday I was going 42 mph while sitting at a red light ) Today it worked fine all day. I know long term what I need to do but will live with it a little longer.

Thank you. I think Art, Art's Auto Mart, jinxed me! :-)))) Always something with this 87 but I love it!
I will contact Batee.com and see what the cost and time frame will be....
If I could ask a favor, please post here what their lead time is. Wonder if they are actually busier in the winter, when many of us have to put them away. I'm away for the next 3 weeks but hope when we get back I'll have at least 2 months left to drive it, even if it means living with the intermittent freeze-up. Once it snows would be a good time to pull it out and send it to them, it can sit torn apart all winter.
I will let you know what I find out. I am the same....the sun is out so am I for a ride. Stored for the winter though. Too much salt on the roads in Toledo Ohio area.
CorvetteRules said about 2 weeks on the repair. If it is just bulbs that would be great. If it is the circuit board then that is different.........
Such is the life of an older Corvette!

I let the weatherman determine the driving season. One year I drove it on New Year's Day before we got snow and salt. On the other extreme, a couple years ago we got plowable snow the first week in November and that was the end of Corvette rides for the year. (We will be passing through your esteemed state Sunday in route to Tennessee. We enter near Ashtabula, exit at Cinci - Ohio goes on forever! )
This is one of those rare times in life where you have a sure thing. I challenge you to find anyone on this forum that has anything other than glowing praise about batee.com. You won’t be disappointed!
